Introduction from the stage
Our next speaker has spent more than ten years making sure money reaches the people it is meant for. In Mathare, she built a savings programme whose members saved over ten million shillings. Today, at the Parliament of Kenya, she leads research for the committee that oversees public funds that lend to women, youth and other underserved Kenyans, and she helped write Parliament's guidelines on gender-responsive budgeting. Please welcome Bevaline Mosoti.
